What we collect when you visit

Our analytics provider, Syft Data, records the pages you view, the site that referred you, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and your browser and device type. We use it to understand which parts of the site people actually read.

Syft also uses a service called RB2B to identify business visitors in the United States. Where it can, that means we learn a name, a work email address, a LinkedIn profile and an employer for someone who visited, without that person filling anything in. We use it to know which firms and founders are reading us. Under California and similar state privacy laws this may count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information, so we say so plainly here.

Your privacy choices

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal we do not run visitor identification for your visit, and no profile is built. Most privacy-focused browsers and extensions send it, and you can turn it on at globalprivacycontrol.org. You can also opt out for any reason by writing to us through the form below, and we will remove you and stop identifying you.

What we collect when you write to us

If you use our intake form, what you submit goes to us and to our records of the companies we meet. We use it to evaluate the opportunity and to reply. We do not add you to a mailing list from it.

Who processes it

Syft Data for analytics, Airtable for the intake form, and Vercel for hosting. Each handles this information on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information.

Cookies

Analytics stores an identifier in your browser so a repeat visit is not counted as a new one. You can block or clear it in your browser settings, and the site works normally without it.

Asking us about your information

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, write to us through the same form and say so. We will handle it ourselves rather than route it anywhere.
